Beta 9138 was released for testing 25 October 2008.
Known glyph changes:
- Hunter:
- Glyph of Aspect of the Monkey - While Aspect of the Moneky or Aspect of the Dragonhawk is active, each time you dodge you gain 30% increased movement speed for 6 sec. This speed does not stack with other movement speed increasing effects. [Added Dragonhawk.]
- Paladin:
- Glyph of Crusader Strike - Reduces the mana cost of your Crusader strike ability by 20%. [Was 20% more damage.]
Inscription Beta 9095
Beta 9095 was released for testing 17 October 2008.
Pre-WotLK Training Changes
- Ethereal Ink trainable at skill 290.
- Scroll of Stamina VI and Scroll of Spirit VI now use Shimmering Ink.
- Ethereal Ink and all 5 rank-VI scrolls now trainable at any trainer (including Old Azeroth).
- Scroll of Strength VI trains at skill 305, and Scroll of Agility VI at 310.
Glyph Changes
This list includes many new glyphs that are not yet trainable, and may only be available with WotLK.
- Druid:
- Glyph of Innervate - Your Innervate spell now grants you full mana regeneration while casting for 20 sec, in addition to the effect on the primary target. Innervate's effect is instead increased by 20% if you are the primary target.
- Glyph of Wrath - Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting your Wrath spell by 50%.
- Hunter:
- Glyph of Trueshot Aura - While your Trueshot Aura is active, you have 10% increased critical strike chance on your Aimed Shot.
- Glyph of Wyvern Sting added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Decreases the cooldown of your Wyvern Sting by 15 sec., but decreases the damage it deals by 20% (major, requires level 40).
- Mage:
- Glyph of Frostfire added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases the initial damage dealt by Frostfire Bolt by 2% and its critical strike chance by 2% (major, requires level 75).
- Glyph of Remove Curse - Your Remove Curse spell also makes the target immune to all Curses for 4 sec. [increased from 1 sec]
- Paladin:
- Glyph of Holy Light - Your Holy Light grants 10% of its heal amount to up to 5 friendly targets within 5 yds of the initial target. [decreased from 100 yards]
- Priest:
- Glyph of Shadow replaces Glyph of Mind Soothe - While in Shadowform, your spell critical strikes increase your spell power by 10% of your Spirit for 10 sec (major, requires level 20).
- Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain - Increases the damage done by your Mind Flay spell by 10% when your target is afflicted with Shadow Word: Pain.
- Glyph of Spirit of Redemption - All heals cast while Spirit of Redemption is active have a 20% chance to increase the remaining duration of Spirit of Redemption by 4 sec. [decreased from 5 sec]
- Rogue:
- Glyph of Rupture - Increases the duration of Rupture by 4 sec. [decreased from 5 sec]
- Glyph of Vigor replaces Glyph of Shiv - Vigor grants an additional 10 maximum energy.
- Glyph of Sinister Strike - Your Sinister Strike critical strikes have a 50% chance to add an additional combo point. [Increased from 40%]
- Glyph of Sprint - Increases the movement speed of your Sprint ability by an additional 30%, but reduces the duration by 5 sec.
- Shaman:
- Glyph of Lava Lash replaces Glyph of Strength of Earth Totem - Damage on your Lava Lash is increased by an additional 10% if your weapon is enchanted with Flametongue (major, requires level 15). Still trainable at skill 165.
- Glyph of Lava added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Your Lava Burst spell gains an additional 10% of your spellpower (major, requires level 66).
- Glyph of Flame Shock - Increases the duration of your Flame Shock ability by 6 sec and it is not consumed by casting Lava Burst.
- Glyph of Elemental Mastery added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Reduces the cooldown of your Elemental Mastery ability by 30 sec (major, requires level 50).
- Glyph of Earth Elemental Totem and Glyph of Totem of Wrath have disappeared.
- Warlock:
- Glyph of Souls - Reduces the mana cost of your Ritual of Souls spell by 70%. [?]
- Warrior:
- Glyph of Blocking added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases your block value by 10% for 10 sec after using your Shield Slam ability (major, requires level 40).
- Glyph of Bloodthirst added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases the healing you receieve from your Bloodthirst ability by 20% (major, requires level 40).
- Glyph of Devastate added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Your Devastate ability now applies two stacks of Sunder Armor (major, requires level 50).
- Glyph of Intervene added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases the number [of] attacks you intercept for your Intervene target by 1 (major, requires level 70).
- Glyph of Last Stand added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Reduces the cooldown of your Last Stand ability by 3 min, but also reduces the maximum health gained by 10% (major, requires level 20).
- Glyph of Mortal Strike added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases the damage of your Mortal Strike ability by 10% but the healing penalty is reduced by half (major, requires level 40).
- Glyph of Resonating Power - Reduces the rage cost of your Thunder Clap ability by 5.
- Glyph of Taunt added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Increases the chance for your Taunt ability to succeed by 8% (major, requires level 15).
- Glyph of Victory Rush added to a test vendor, but not trainable yet - Your Victory Rush ability has a 30% increased critical strike chance against targets above 90% health (major, requires level 62).
