Materials 100-150

Mill 160 herbs (32 millings) that produce Golden Pigment/Burnt Pigment. Any from: Grave Moss, Kingsblood, Liferoot, or Wild Steelbloom. You should gain at least 82 Golden Pigment and 10 Burnt Pigment.

1 Light Parchment may be required, but most recipes use Common Parchment. 42 will be needed. Parchment is sold by Inscription vendors.

Herbs from the previous skill-up (75-100) can still be used to make Mysterious Tarot. This will give regular skill-ups until around 130. Consider this if herbs in the previous group are far easier to gather (or cheaper to buy).

Leveling 100-150

Strange Tarot (using Dawnstar Ink, made from the rare Burnt Pigment) remains "orange" until skill 150, which allows us to do something cunning:

Milling sometimes produces rare secondary pigments. In this case, Burnt Pigment. Since you will gain secondary pigments, they should be used instead of extra basic inks, where possible. So, at skill 125 we will produce Dawnstar Ink, which we will then use to make Strange Tarot from about skill 145.

Rare pigments are used throughout this guide. You may be unlucky, and not manage to mill enough rare pigment. If you are unlucky, just make more of the basic ink, and produce extra glyphs to gain the missing skill points. In this case, if you do not have enough Burnt Pigments, you should make slightly more Lion's Ink, and create an extra glyph(s) around skill 145.

Between skill 125 and 150 train Expert rank at any Inscription trainer. You will need to be at least level 20. Training will cost 50 silver.

What are Tarot? Each use of the recipe creates a random card from a Deck. There are several cards to collect in each deck. Anyone can then use the deck to start a quest, and gain some gear. Cards can be traded, so people can buy missing cards at auction. Read more about Tarot cards »

The suggested glyph recipes are all orange, so (in practice) will give a skill-up. The first 2 or 3 "yellow" skill points are very likely to give a skill-up. So if a glyph is particularly valuable, you should be able to make a few extra without using a lot more ink.
You should be starting to see a pattern...
