Introduction
With patch 3.1, Book of Glyph Mastery can sometimes be found by looting any creature in Northrend. These books are very rare, but can be traded. Expect to buy Book of Glyph Mastery at the auction house, not find them all yourself.
Each Book of Glyph Mastery can be read (used) once to discover a single new glyph. Glyphs discovered using a Book of Glyph Mastery can only be discovered from such a book.
Use of the Book of Glyph Mastery requires Inscription skill 425. Each book is consumed when used. No reagents are required. Once you have discovered everything taught by Book of Glyph Mastery, attempting to use a book will give an error message - books will not be wasted learning nothing.

Each Book of Glyph Mastery can be read (used) once to discover a single new minor glyph. Glyphs discovered using a Book of Glyph Mastery can only be discovered from such a book.
But in fact, you discover a new Major Glyph, not Minor.
