I'd take anything on PTR with a grain of salt. Primarily I believe it's up to test server stress and to build hype for Wrath (I believe even Blizzard won't turn a blind eye at the release of WAR this week).

Inscription still looks rather incomplete, as are most of the classes at this point. Personally I think they're starting to rush it out, which disappointments me as there are minor things that definitely need fine tuning.

Like I said in a previous post, I'm just waiting for El and crew to get a real taste of inscription on the beta realms before I start planning out a leveling path.

I thought glyphs to be a part of the expansion and instead hoped to hear from Runewords again (they were mentioned in early stats of the profession imo). Or is it extreme unlikely?

edit: on the ptr you can create glyphs, but the mats required seem odd to me, with the increasing lvl of the professiion and the resulting "phases" of pigments/inks only the druid glyphs go with this "flow" the rest is created bey moonglow ink, parchments und mageroyal, strange -.-

The obvious answer is glyphs: Assuming the pre-WotLK patch introduces glyph slots, almost everyone will want to fill them, since they will gain a character advantage immediately. And based on experience from Jewelcrafting in TBC, the people to learn the profession first can make a huge amount of money/goodwill in the first few weeks, especially if there are rare recipes that genuinely are rare on your realm at the start.

Since 3.0.1 was mentioned and the fact that there will be Inscription included, I wondered what could be the argument to lvl this profession before the expansion pack hits except just to do it, before most of the people?

Is there an idea?
