It basically contains a list of all the known recipes then when you press the scan button in the prof frame it does a scan against what you have.</p> <p>So based on it, My scribe has all Inscription recipes apart from the one that drops from the wogen's as he hasn't done the quest yet to change them into Wogens.</p> <p>(Note: If you try to use a Book of Glyph Mastery when you know them all it'll throw up an error and not let you use the book. There was talk about achievements for primary professions, but they have not appeared yet.</p> <p>The Armory statistics are wrong: At least El has "780 Inscriptions learned", which is about 300 more recipes than exist in the entire profession. And El is missing quite a lot of the Book of Glyph Mastery research. It's possible it is double-counting. The data structure for glyphs is hideous, so probably easy to make a mistake with.</p> <p>Not sure about addons. There are several glyphs lurking in the data files that can't be learned, but there is no way to know which. Found several that give a quick tool tip as to what's need to make the glyph but nothing that tracks glyphs you haven't discovered. Granted if this can't be done due to Blizzard's restrictions I guess I am out of luck </p>
